Mama is always telling me to SHARE!!??

I guess the pictures will say it all!!

NICE!!

Christmas 2007

Well, I am so behind on the pictures and so I have now put the pics from the past 2 months on here!! We have struggled with illness and some other difficulties. But the Lord is faithful and we are so grateful for Him and His provision for us daily!! Below are the pictures of Christmas and then Thanksgiving and a few other things follow. Enjoy!

Our friends Carol and Kaley gave Joshua this GREAT Nativity set that he could play with. Of course he loved it and took baby Jesus and Mary, Joseph and a cow to his bedroom each night. The cow was to keep them warm, he said.

Here are Carol and Kaley. Kaley was also adopted from China when she was a baby.

A very eager assistant when it comes to opening presents~

RED, the firetruck from Cars (the movie). Too cool!

Rescue helicopter that makes noise and flashes its lights.

In the new bean bag chair from Granny.

I love my granny!!

Off to the store on Christmas Eve for some extra butter! Oops.

Christmas family photo.

Little Kitchen Helper!

Joshua just loves to help in the kitchen. Any time one of us is doing something he will stop whatever he is doing (EVEN PLAYING CARS) and holler at the top of his lungs, "I HELP, I HELP". So we pull up the step ladder and get busy.

Helping Papa wash the dishes.

Breaking in the new Kitchen Aid mixer that Mama got for Christmas. Now any time he sees one on TV or in the store, he says, "make cookies?"

Here we are making cookies for the goodie bags we gave out to friends and co workers. (No we did not stick the spatula back in the mix!!)

YUMMYY!!!

ALMOST surgery!

On December 6th, Joshua was to have surgery at Arkansas Children's Hospital in Little Rock. But due to a cough, they decided not to do it because of the risk of problems under anesthesia.

The night before the surgery, we stayed at the Ronald McDonald house which is right across the street from the hospital. What a blessing!

Joshua sits so still for the nurse to prick his little finger for a couple of drops of blood. He is so good about all these types of things.

He loved the Scooby Doo bandaid and all the stickers they gave him.

Here is one of the foyers and the outside garden of the Children's Hospital. It is just a beautiful place.

Thanksgiving

For Thanksgiving, our friend Laura came to stay with us for the week. We had a ball! On Turkey Day, Mamma Lena came over for dinner and Charley, Laura and I cooked a fabulous feast.

Chef Charley with turkey stuffed and ready for the oven.

Boy did it come out yummy and delicious!

Mamma Lena waits patiently for the rest of us to get in there and eat!!

Laura and Joshua

Fast friends!

Operation Christmas Child

In the middle of November, Joshua's Sunday School class worked together to prepare boxes for Operation Christmas Child. He has the best teachers!! They are so good and they are always doing such neat things with their class. We are so blessed to have them as Joshua's teachers this year!!
Here he is helping put the things in the box. I know he was thinking that he might like to put a few in his pocket!!

Here they are bringing the boxes to the "cross" and then praying over them.

The cross that was formed of the boxes.
