A Daffodil Day in Arkansas

March 9, 2007

Today we went to Wye Mountain, which is in central Arkansas. There is a little Methodist Church there, which sits in front of a hill covered in daffodils! It was gorgeous. Our friend Pat told us about it and took us out there to take some photos. We took about 300 snaps!! (Hallelujah for digital photography!) Here are a few of the great ones!

A flower for Mama

We made it out just as the rain showers began!! What beautiful spot!!

I found which one was Susan's husband, so tell him how to figure out how to get it delivered to Albania! :) Someday I am certain that Teta Laura will make it on to the Pitchford Journey archive, because once that kid hits this side of the Balkans, he's all mine to spoil! :)

The daffodil fields are great, the happy pics of the family are better, the daffodil/laughing shots of Joshua are to die for.

It was great to see the new pictures!! We did enjoy your visit so much. Cathy's girls saw Joshua's picture on the bulletin board at church and just squeeled. "Grandma that's Joshua" We must get together again soon.
