In school we always talked about March being kite flying month. Well, it has been true here in Arkansas/Texas, this year. In the background of the picture below, you can see our church. We are living in the mission house which belongs to the church and backs up to this field, which is the church property. We have the PERFECT kite flying field, literally in our backyard. So we have been taking advantage of that! We purchased this kite in California, back in the summer of 2006, in anticipation of Joshua's impending arrival. It looks so cool against the beautiful, blue sky! Joshua squealed with excitement as the kite rose higher and higher with the wind. It was so much fun to share this thrill with him. He wants to do it every day now!! His newest obsession! A great one to have, I think!
